The Moth
Walking in the Durham countryside one moonlit evening, carpenter Robert Bradley is startled to see what looks like an apparition. It turns out to be the unearthly Millie Thorman, known locally as The Moth. Returning her safely home, Robert meets Millie’s beautiful and protective older sister Sarah. When Robert is driven from his home, unjustly accused of fathering his cousin’s child, he decides to seek work on the Thorman estate. Life in service is not easy for a skilled craftsman, but two things keep Robert at the Thormans’: the vulnerability of Millie and the attraction of her forceful sister.
