A young woman with amnesia is the main suspect in a series of gruesome murders. But the killers aren’t from this world, and it’s her they’re coming after.

______________________________

Rachel Wright, late 20s, wakes up in hospital with no memory of either who she is, or how she got there. Her boyfriend, detective Mike Flynn, says he’ll take care of her, but this doesn’t go down well with Rachel’s boss and best friend, Suzy, who knows that Rachel was planning on breaking up with Mike on the night she collapsed.

The post-amnesia Rachel, however, seems to prefer Mike to Suzy. This new Rachel is very different. She smokes, for one thing – and is no longer a vegetarian. And she likes Mike a whole lot more than she used to, which he’s not complaining about. They get on better and the sex is great.

Mike meanwhile is investigating a series of connected killings, all involving broken mirrors at the crime scene. When Rachel’s friend Suzy is found dead, there are broken mirrors there too, and even the forensic experts can’t explain exactly how Suzy was killed. As the death toll rises, the links between Rachel and the victims can no longer be ignored.

Mike has to put his scepticism aside in order to find out the truth. Is Rachel the killer, or a victim? As he searches for answers, he’s about to discover that there are some fates much worse than death…

They’re coming. And nothing will stop them.
